The implementation of Linewize Pulse Wellbeing Check-ins across schools in West Auckland marked our first step in creating a proactive and preventative approach to safeguarding students in an increasingly online world, that ensures the best outcomes for our children.
The next step is equipping schools more broadly to effectively manage disclosures and assistance requests, as a result of our tamariki feeling safe enough to share their feelings and reach out for help.
Today’s breakfast is a response from Linewize to the emerging needs of schools in the region.
We are thrilled to have Ruth Browning join us to work with leaders and pastoral care and wellbeing teams, providing valuable guidance and training on best practices around attending to help requests, legal requirements, duty of care and other important topics.
Raising the bar - together
Linewize Pulse is one of our flagship early detection and intervention solutions, trusted by hundreds of schools across New Zealand. It helps schools better understand what’s happening for both tamariki and staff, enabling them to provide meaningful support through targeted interventions.
Pulse offers students a quick and easy way to check in on their wellbeing and, through student voice, provides weekly insights into the overall wellbeing of the school. The check-in takes just a minute or two, making it simple but impactful.
About Linewize Monitor
Linewize Monitor is the leading digital risk detection tool for K-12 schools. Using AI, advanced behavioural technology, and human moderation, it provides critical insights into students' online activity. Human-moderated 24/7, it alerts staff to vulnerable students in real-time.
Monitor helps identify at-risk students who may otherwise go unnoticed, offering peace of mind for schools and parents. Incidents are flagged within minutes, allowing staff to respond quickly. It detects vulnerabilities across 7 categories: mental health, bullying, self-harm, drugs, gangs, grooming, and radicalisation.
